1. Who are you?
I’m the CEO and co-founder of Noodl. I’m a Canadian startup and design guy living in Sweden. I previously started the design & innovation company, Topp (www.topp.se), where we first developed Noodl to help our global clients build better MVPs.
2. What is Noodl and what problem are you trying to solve?
Noodl is the first professional design programming platform for building web apps. It’s a visual tool that helps teams build powerful software and get it deployed into the hands of users fast.
It’s a pro-tool for both non-coders and people with coding skills alike.
There are some truly ambitious Noodl users as well. One startup just got acquired who built on Noodl, and it’s been used at Walmart to define their mobile shopping app, Nike for campaigns, GSK uses it to test new consumer health apps in market. There’s even a company building an AI tool with Noodl!
With Noodl, you get a fantastic toolbox that combines design tools, Figma imports, frontend creation, a scalable database solution, 3rd party plugins, and super options for defining business logic. And for everyone who has hit the “#nocodewall” with other tools, it’s a great choice!
Noodl lends itself to people and teams who want to work fast and iteratively. It is excellent for building all the product nuances you can imagine. However, it’s crucial for us never to limit our users’ vision for their apps.
And it’s free to use, which is always nice, of course.

3. What is the future of Noodl? What is your goal with Noodl?
Design programming is on the rise, and we want to be at the forefront of that movement—no technical or design limits to your app vision.
And we’re challenging the misconception that no-code is only for limited use cases!
That means for us, it’s not enough to be “not-code”. Instead, we want to give users the best way to create web apps that takes the best of design-driven innovation and combine it with a technically scalable platform.
We’re also embracing being coder-friendly! So if you know even just a bit of javascript, you’ll love what you can do.
You don’t have to code in Noodl, but you can. And this lets both coders and non-coders do what they do best when they’re collaborating.
Startups and innovation teams that want to get serious MVPs out to market love this way of collaborating in a unified platform.
We will continue to focus on people and teams who want to innovate. So it’s for people who don’t just want a landing page but are really interested in building new value in a better way.
4. Can you recommend your favourite no code tools other then Noodl?
I think Zapier is pretty impressive for business logic. We love it so much we have built-in integrations in Noodl for it!
For people creating static websites
and landing pages, Webflow is a beast. The learning curve can be steep for some, but it’s another good example where designers and developers collaborate well.
